How to Make Edibles At Home In 5 Easy Steps!
How To Make Edibles!
Step 1: Choosing your starting material: You will have to choose which cannabis starting material you want to use to make your edibles. Some choices include: bud or flower, kief, distillates, or various concentrates.

Step 2: Decarboxylation: Next you will have to decarb your cannabis starting material. Decarboxylation is a chemical reaction that results from heating a cannabinoid to the point of removing a carboxyl group, thus enhancing the cannabinoid's ability to interact with the body's receptors. We like to decarb our cannabis flowers in the oven at 250F for 25-35 minutes depending on the quality. Your cannabis flower should look slightly brown in appearance if done correctly.
Tip: Adding an emulsifier like soy lecithin will help the THC bind better to fats during the infusion
Step 3: Infusion: Once you have decarbed your cannabis material. You will have to infuse it into a cooking oil or directly into your food. We like to infuse cooking oils at 250F for 2 hours using a hot water bath.
Tip: It's easier to work with your cannabis flower once its ground down.
